Transfer: Dembele accepts offer to leave Barcelona

Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele has reportedly accepted Paris Saint-Germain’s proposal to sign him.

The 26-year-old has a £43million release clause in his contract that will expire on August 1, where it will then rise to £86m.

PSG have been keen to thrash out a deal before the deadline, and now look to be set to secure his services.

That is according to Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, who has stated the 2018 World Cup winner has agreed to Les Parisiens’ demands.

It has been said that Dembele has verbally agreed to a five-year deal at Parc des Princes, with PSG sending a formal letter to Barca to inform them of their interest.

Since joining the Blaugrana from Borussia Dortmund in 2018, Dembele has scored 40 goals in 185 games in all competitions.
