Transfer: Chippa United receives up to 10 offers for Nwabali

Chippa United goalkeeper coach, Sean Louw, claimed that the club has gotten at least 10 offers for Super Eagles stopper, Stanley Nwabali.

According to Louw, he is not expecting Nwabali to return to the club.

The Nigerian became the subject of interest, following his impressive outing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

After losing the AFCON final to the hosts Ivory Coast, he played a crucial role as Chippa reached the Nedbank Cup semi-final and kept a total of 12 clean sheets in all competitions.

Louw has now said he expects the 27-year-old not be at the club next season.

“On physical hard copy paper, I don’t know how many offers he has received, but verbally, he has around 10 or even 12 offers. He is definitely not coming back to Chippa next season,” Louw told FarPost.

“When [Nwabali] arrived at Chippa, he wasn’t very proficient with his footwork, unable to play from the back. However, he has improved his footwork significantly.”
