Chelsea are ready to terminate Cesar Azpilicueta’s contract with the club, to enable him join Inter Milan as a free agent this summer.
According to footballer transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Azpilicueta has agreed a two-year deal with the Champions League finalists.
The Blues will not demand a transfer fee for the 33-year-old despite his contract expiring in 2024.
Romano tweeted: “Understand César Azpilicueta has now full agreement on personal terms with Inter. Two year deal sealed.
“Chelsea are expected to let him go by terminating his contract despite being still valid until 2024.
“There’s always been genuine respect between Azpi and Chelsea.”
