Chelsea’s deal with Juventus to swap Romelu Lukaku for Dusan Vlahovic has hit a snag – a rather big one.
Reports in Italy claim the European giants have been in talks over a player-plus-cash deal after the Blues decided Lukaku has no future at Stamford Bridge.
However, Chelsea have offered just half of the additional transfer fee wanted by Juve for their 23-year-old striker.
Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting Chelsea have offered Lukaku and €20million [£17m] for Vlahovic, but Juventus are demanding €40m [£34m] for the transfer to go through.
Despite the clubs being €20m apart in their valuations, though, it is claimed talks are resuming.
