Casemiro and Manchester United have reached an agreement on personal terms in principle, bringing the Brazilian midfielder’s transfer from Real Madrid closer.
This week, United made a move to sign the 30-year-old multiple Champions League champion, and the final price will be €60 million plus €10 million in add-ons. A medical exam is scheduled for the next 24 hours, and the transfer is anticipated to be finalised in the coming days.
On Thursday afternoon, it was reported that the player was going to be given a five-year contract, with four years and the possibility of an additional year. He could make up to £400,000 per week, including bonuses.
According to reports, Casemiro is keen for a new adventure after winning everything there is to win at club level with Los Blancos. Real had planned with the player for the new season, but Casemiro has held a desire to play in England for some time and has jumped at the opportunity.
