Transfer: “Anything can happen”- Christian Pulisic on possible Chelsea exit

Christian Pulisic, the United States Men’s National Team forward, has admitted that his future at Chelsea is uncertain as the January transfer window approaches.

The forward has been at the World Cup, but he was unable to help his country advance past the round of 16, as they were defeated by the Netherlands.

He now returns to Chelsea, with questions about his long-term future lingering after struggling for regular minutes in the Premier League this season.

Christian Pulisic comment

“Right now I’m absolutely back at Chelsea. Focused and ready to finish the season,” he told the Indirect Podcast.

“But you know how things work in football. Things change quickly and anything can happen. At the moment, I am just pushing myself in training and working at Chelsea because that’s where I am right now.”

The American has only started three league games for Chelsea this season, and he may be looking for a new club in the winter in the hopes of playing more often. Emmanuel Petit has even suggested that he join Arsenal to help replace the injured Gabriel Jesus.

The Blues return to Premier League action on December 27 when they host Bournemouth. Perhaps Pulisic will get a chance to show off his skills in that game.
