Transfer: Andre Onana chooses between Chelsea, Manchester United

Cameroon international goalkeeper Andre Onana prefers a switch to Manchester United over Chelsea.

Chelsea are interested in signing the former Ajax goalkeeper this summer as a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy, both keepers who could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Guardian reports that both the Blues and Manchester United have approached the Italian side about signing Onana.

However, the Cameroonian shot-stopper favours a move to Manchester United where he would be reunited with former manager Ten Hag.

The 27-year-old only joined Inter last summer and has four years left on his contract and is valued at £50 million by the Italian side.

Onana has featured 41 times across competitions this past season, keeping 19 clean sheets.

He particularly impressed in his side’s 1-0 Champions League final defeat to Manchester City, making three key saves.
