37–year-old former Manchester United star Ashley Young has been offered to Everton.
The defender is a free agent after his contract at Aston Villa expired at the end of the season.
Young made 32 appearances last term as he helped Unai Emery’s side secure European football by qualifying for the Europa Conference League.
The former England full-back is now on the hunt for a new club as he looks to continue his career.
Luton have been linked with a move for him as the Premier League newcomers look to add some top flight experience to their side.
Everton’s recent financial struggles means Sean Dyche will have to be smart in the transfer market to improve his side after scraping top flight safety.
And, according to Football Transfers journalist Jacque Talbot, Young’s representatives have approached the Toffees about signing him on a free.
