Pape Sarr making his first Premier League start for Tottenham in the north London derby.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who has featured as a substitute in Tottenham’s last two Premier League games, started the FA Cup third-round win over Portsmouth and has been rewarded for his positive form with a full PL debut.
Dejan Kulusevski returns from injury to make his first appearance since Boxing Day, while another recently injured player Richarlison is back in the squad after being named as a substitute. Rodrigo Bentancur, however, remains absent.
Sarr and Kulusevski are two of three changes from the 4-0 win over Crystal Palace with Ryan Sessegnon preferred at left wing-back over Ivan Perisic, who is on the bench with Bryan Gil and Oliver Skipp.
Mikel Arteta has named an unchanged team from Arsenal’s last Premier League game, the goalless draw with Newcastle on January 3.
That means Eddie Nketiah continues to lead the line in the absence of Gabriel Jesus, with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli either side of him.
Oleksandr Zinchenko once again gets the nod over Kieran Tierney at left-back, with Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard again making up the midfield three.
Emile Smith Rowe is among the substitutes having made his return from injury with a cameo in the FA Cup win over Oxford United.
