The Super Eagles will discover their group opponents in the 2022 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday.
The draw for the tournament will be staged at the Yaounde Conference Centre.
The draw for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations, Cameroon 2021 will determine the group composition for this second edition of the 24-team continental tournament scheduled for January 9 to February 6, 2022.
Nigerian sports presenter Mimi Fawaz and Cameroon radio legend Leonard Chatelain will host the event.
It wouldn’t be the first time Fawaz will host CAF event. In January 2017, she did a sterling job as a co-host of the CAF Awards 2016 in Nigeria.
The Eagles clinched the Nations Cup in 1980, 1994 and 2013. At the last edition 2019 in Egypt, Algeria defeated Senegal by a lone goal at the Cairo international stadium to emerge champions.
Nigeria settled for the third place beating Tunisia by a lone goal as well thanks to a third minute goal by former Manchester United ace Odion Ighalo.
