Super Eagles striker, Boniface wins Bundesliga Player Of The Month

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has claimed the August prize for Bundesliga Player of the Month award.

Boniface only moved to Bayer Leverkusen this summer to play under Xabi Alonso.

His impressive start with Leverkusen in August saw him score two goals and provide one assist.

The 22-year-old Nigerian forward secured the award by outperforming RB Leipzig’s winger Xavi Simons and Freiburg goalkeeper, Noah Atubolu.

Organiser of the German topflight, Bundesliga, made the announcement on their X handle on Thursday.
