Oreva BenedictBy Oreva BenedictMarch 9, 2023

It’s still quite a strong Arsenal side out in Portugal this evening, but there are six changes from Saturday’s win over Bournemouth.

Matt Turner continues his European run in goal, making his fifth appearance of the competition, with Ben White returning at right-back.

Jakub Kiwior plays his first minutes since his January move from Spezia, while in midfield Jorginho and Granit Xhaka come in.

Gabriel Martinelli moves up front allowing Reiss Nelson to make his first start since before the World Cup.

There’s notably no Gabriel Jesus in the squad at all, explaining why Arsenal weren’t keen to confirm or deny whether he had travelled.
