Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen found the back of the net twice as Napoli beat Hellas Verona 1-2 in Sunday’s Serie A clash.
Osimhen opened scoring in the 14 minute before going on to add another one in the 71st minute to make it 0-2.
Marco Faraoni reduced the deficit for the hosts after he scored a brilliant goal in the 77th minute.
Verona’s chance of winning or sharing the spoils suffered major setback as both centre-back, Federico Ceccherini and right-back, Marco Faraoni were sent off in the 83rd and 90+8th minute respectively.
The Blues came into the game from a disappointing home loss against Inter Milan.
With this win, the Parthenopeans are still much on course for the Serie A title.
Osimhen has now scored his first Serie A brace.
