Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen was on target again in Serie A for his club SSC Napoli.
At the Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples, Napoli thrashed the newly promoted club, AC Monza, 4-0, with Osimhen scoring the game’s second goal.
The 23-year-old scored his second goal of the season in as many games for the Blues to cap off his second game of the season as a starter.
Before being replaced by Adam Ounas, Osimhen played for 84 minutes. This season, he has yet to play for ninety minutes.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Min-Jae Kim, two summer signings for Napoli, scored additional goals. Kvaratskhelia scored two goals.
In two league games for the Partenopei, the striker has now put two goals and one assist on the board.
With six points from two games, Napoli sit atop the standings.
