Saudi pushes for SPL clubs to play in UEFA Champions League this season
Saudo Arabia is in serious talks with UEFA to have some SPL clubs play in Champions League this season

The Saudi Football Association, SFA, are now in talks with the European football governing body, UEFA regarding the possibility of a Saudi Pro League club participating in the 2025 Champions League.
According to Calcio e Finanza, the Saudi FA have continued to meet UEFA officials and this is aimed at boosting Saudi football’s prominence.
Clubs in the Middle East country have made waves in the 2022-23 transfer market amid the arrival of top European players.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Neymar have already settled well in the Middle East.
Other top stars currently in Saudi Arabia are Sadio Mane, Ruben Neves, N’Golo Kante, Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Firmino.
These big names might return to the European football scenes again if the talks come to a successful agreement.
