Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr, has expressed his satisfaction with the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos turf, which will be venue of their final 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Lesotho on March 30.
The Eagles engaged in their first full training ahead of their AFCON qualifier against Benin Republic at the Stade Charles de Gaulle in Porto Novo.
On a wet turf after a drizzle, the team engaged in several programmes under the watchful eyes of the Franco-German tactician and his assistants.
“The pitch is very good for football.
“The boys like it and the surface is wonderful and green. I said it before when I came here, they have worked on the grass and it is very good,” Rohr said after the training on Tuesday.
