Robert Lewandowski: Barcelona make N25.8bn bid for Bayern Munich star

Robert Lewandowski has received a €40 million (£34.4 million or N25.8bn) bid from Barcelona.

Even though the striker only has one year left on his contract, Bayern Munich insists he is not for sale.

If Bayern were to decide to sell Lewandowski, they have not informed his agents how much they would take for the Polish international.

The 33-year-old reportedly told Bayern last month that he would not extend his contract past the conclusion of the 2022–2023 season. This was according to Sky in Germany.

Lewandowski has informed the Bundesliga team that he is seeking a new challenge and that money is not a major factor in his decision to leave.

Lewandowski would prefer to move to Barcelona this summer rather than wait to become a free agent, according to Sky in Germany.

Lewandowski won’t be leaving the Allianz Arena this summer, according to Oliver Kahn, the CEO of Bayern Munich, who told Amazon Prime in April.
