Real Madrid midfielder, Camavinga deletes social media image over sports brands war

Real Madrid midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga, was forced to delete the viral image of all the players wearing his sunglasses.

Relevo reports it is because of the “war” between Nike and Adidas.

Camavinga’s glasses are from Nike, with which he is associated.

However, numerous Real Madrid players are sponsored by Adidas.

And more, Camavinga had to delete it because the Real Madrid’s locker room is all Adidas.

The club receives around €120m per season from their main sponsor.

As the contracts say, the players are not allowed to promote rival brands within the locker room.
