Raphinha: Chelsea ‘close’ to signing Arsenal and Barcelona target

Chelsea in talks with Leeds over deal for Raphinha

Thomas Tuchel’s side are ‘close’ to signing Arsenal and Barcelona target, Raphinha.

Chelsea and Leeds are negotiating a deal for Raphinha, and the Blues are willing to pay more than £50 million to complete the transaction.

Chelsea’s offer currently prevails over Arsenal’s, who had their initial bid rejected but are expected to make a better one later on. Raheem Sterling is also a target for Chelsea, with Manchester City preparing a bid for the English international after Thomas Tuchel questioned Sterling about how he would fit in at Stamford Bridge.

Additionally, Raphinha, whose agent is the former Barca player Deco, is reportedly a target for Barcelona.

Since joining Leeds two seasons ago and scoring 17 Premier League goals, Raphinha has been the team’s standout attacking player.
