Rangers XI vs Eintracht Europa League final: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, and injury

Rangers have got a significant physical boost ahead of today’s Europa League final with the return of Kemar Roofe to the team to play Eintracht Frankfurt.

On the night of the match in Seville, Giovanni van Bronckhorst verified the Scottish side’s news, with striker Roofe having last played little over a month ago, and he begins on the bench.

“Kemar is available,” the manager stated.

“He trained for the first time with us [on Monday]. He had individual training before that and he will be training later. He will be in the squad and if I want to use him he is available.”

Alfredo Morelos sits out with a thigh injury, as are long-term absentees Ianis Hagi and Filip Helandar. Aaron Ramsey had to settle for a bench position.

Rangers start Ryan Jack in midfield in their first European final since losing to Zenit in 2008.

Starting XI: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic, Lundstram, Jack, Kent, Aribo, Kamara, Wright

Subs: McCrorie, McLaughlin, Diallo, Davis, Ramsey, Sands, Roofe, Balogun, Sakala, Arfield, King, Lowry
