Paris Saint-Germain celebrated Lionel Messi‘s seventh Ballon d’Or award, with a special gold-tinted jersey, for Sunday’s Ligue 1 match with rivals Monaco.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice against his former side at the Parc des Princes to seal the win.
The result means PSG extend their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to 13 points.
And they did so in the glitzy shirts to mark their talisman’s SEVENTH gong as the world’s best player.
The special kit consists of the iconic PSG blue home shirt with gold numbers and lettering on the back.
Speaking after the win, Mbappe said: “Maybe it was not brilliant but we killed it in the first half.
“I can’t get sentimental. I love playing football and I love scoring goals.”
Mbappe’s double made it 10 goals in 10 matches against his former club.
