Manchester United are reportedly considering signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with Barcelona reportedly offering them the opportunity to bring the striker back to the Premier League.
After leaving Arsenal, the prolific forward joined Camp Nou in January. Despite being stripped of the captaincy and having a falling out with Mikel Arteta, there is little doubt about Aubameyang’s goalscoring ability. In fact, he left Arsenal having scored 92 goals in 163 appearances.
In his short time at Barcelona, he also made himself at home, scoring an impressive 13 goals in 23 games for Xavi Hernandez’s team.
The Red Devils are looking for more firepower, as evidenced by recent and surprising links to Marko Arnautovic. However, with the Red Devils pulling out of a potential deal for the Austrian, speculation about Aubayemang is increasing.
Additionally, the 33-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea.
The Blues are in the market for a new central striker having offloaded Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan.
