On Thursday, five other people, including Pablo Mari, were attacked and stabbed in a mall in Milan.
At around 5:30 pm on Thursday, the defender, 29, was attacked in the Milanofiori di Assago shopping center outside of Milan. According to Italian media, Adriano Galliani, the CEO of Monza, and coach Raffaele Palladino are in the hospital with Mari and he is said to be conscious.
Police in Italy have detained a 46-year-old Italian man in connection with the assault. Another man who was stabbed is said to have passed away.
Pablo Mar is not in danger because his wounds are not life-threatening, according to Galliani. We anticipate seeing him soon.
Mari is on loan from her parent company, Arsenal, to Monza. Mikel Arteta, the Gunners’ manager, added: “Edu is in the hospital, and from what I can tell, he is doing okay. I am aware that he has been in contact with his family. I hope he’s okay.”
