Victor Osimhen, a striker for Napoli, will only join Premier League clubs that can offer him a place in the Champions League.
This comes after Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis informed Liverpool that the Super Eagles star will cost €100 million.
Agents for Osimhen have been “given the green light” to market him to English clubs.
According to Corriere dello Sport, De Laurentis has told Liverpool and Bayern Munich that they must pay £86 million (€100 million) to sign Osimhen.
Both Divock Origi and Sadio Mane are set to leave Liverpool this summer, and both provide Jurgen Klopp with a physical presence in the box and the ability to play a direct style of play.
Manchester United is also said to have made multiple requests for information on Osimhen’s possible transfer to Old Trafford.
Last season, the former Lille striker started 26 games for Napoli in all competitions and was directly involved in 24 goals (18 goals and 6 assists).
