Nigeria vs South Africa: Super Eagles starting XI for 2026 World Cup qualifier

The head coach of the Super Eagles, Finidi George, has released his starting line-up for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa tonight.

Stanley Nwabali starts in goal ahead of Maduka Okoye and Olorunleke Ojo.

Bright Osayi-Samuel and Calvin Bassey will operate from the right and left-back positions.

Wilfred Ndidi, who will captain the team on the night will pair West Bromwich Albion’s Semi Ajayi in central defence.

Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi and Fisayo Dele -Bashiru will operate from the midfield.

Lanky hitman Paul Onuachu will lead the attack and will be supported by Ademola Lookman and Kelechi Iheanacho.
