Coach Augustine Eguavoen will not invite Watford’s Dennis Emmanuel for Nigeria’s 2022 World Cup play off against Ghana.

OwnGoalNigeria reports Eguavoen is already working on the squad for the two-legged tie.

Eguavoen is expected to still be in charge after contract talks with Jose Peseiro broke down.

The 56-year-old will stick with most of the players he took to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Three players will be added to the squad. They are: Victor Osimhen, Oghenekaro Etebo and Leon Balogun.

They will take the place of Henry Onyekuru, Peter Olayinka and Isah Ndah.
