Newcastle vs Man Utd: Starting XIs for EPL clash confirmed | Full lists

    By Oreva BenedictApril 2, 2023

The big news from a Manchester United perspective is that Marcus Rashford is passed fit to start this afternoon at Newcastle.

In fact, Erik ten Hag has made three changes from his side’s last outing – a FA Cup quarter-final win over Fulham.

Two come on the right-hand side as Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jadon Sancho make way for Diogo Dalot and Antony. Meanwhile, Raphael Varane comes in for Harry Maguire in at centre-back.

There is also a welcome return on the bench for Anthony Martial, who has not played in the Premier League since January 14.

Newcastle, meanwhile, are unchanged from the side that beat Nottingham Forest in their last match.

That means Alexander Isak continues to lead the line, with Callum Wilson having to settle for a place on the bench.

Speaking of the bench, Eddie Howe’s substitutes are bolstered by the returns of Joelinton and Anthony Gordon, who have to watch on after injury with Allan Saint-Maximin and Jacob Murphy starting in attack.
