Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa has stated that he has no problem with coach Gernot Rohr. He disclosed this after Nigeria defeated the Squirrels of Benin 2-1 in an AFCON qualifier on Wednesday.
Musa came on as a substitute in the last five minutes of the game. He, however, expressed happiness on being back on the team after suffering injury.
“As I said at the pre-match conference, I am just happy to be back in the team,” Musa told reporters in his post-match press conference in Uyo.
“It is normal for the manager to select the players that played against Brazil.”
Meanwhile, echoing what Musa said, Rohr praised his captain’s attitude, saying the former Leicester City star is a ‘good captain’.
“Let me add to what he said, this man is a good captain-pointing at Musa.
“He told me before the game to start the same team that started against Brazil.”
