Manchester United Coach Jose Mourinho has sent a note of warning to the Manchester United hierarchy about signing players to strengthen the team.
Mourinho has been grumbling about his team inability to bring in players after making just two signings in the transfer window, Mourinho clearly is not happy with only the addition of Fred and Dalot he wants four players to be added to the team according to reports
“My CEO knows what I want and I still have a few days to wait and see what happens,” the Portuguese manager told MUTV ahead of his side’s pre-season friendly defeat by Bayern Munich on Sunday.
“The other clubs who compete with us are really strong and already have fantastic teams. Or they are investing massively like Liverpool, who are buying everything and everybody.
“If we don’t make our team better it will be a difficult season for us.”
Manchester United ended their pre-season with a 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich, Javi Martinez’s header gave the Bavarians victory against The Reds.
“Finally, it’s over. Finally, such a difficult pre-season is over,” Mourinho told mufc.com.
“The players were, once more, brilliant. They could not have done better than what they did. (It was a) fantastic experience for the boys.”
