Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, has posted an Instagram message laden with sarcasm giving his thoughts on the recent international break.
The Premier League has been on pause again while friendlies and Nations League games have been taking place.
But the timing of the fixtures have been called under question by some given the current coronavirus pandemic.
And Spurs have been dealt a blow with the news they will be without their right-back Matt Doherty for at least the next two weeks, after he tested positive for Covid-19 while on duty with the Republic of Ireland.
Shortly after the news broke Mourinho posted a picture of himself working out along with the caption: “Amazing week of football. Great emotions in the national team matches, superb friendlies and total safety.
“Covid test results after matches been played, randomers running on the pitch while team sessions are taking place and much more.
“After another training session with only 6 players, it is now time to take care of myself.”
