Moses Simon, a Super Eagles’ star, has been crowned Nantes’ Player of the Month for April, following his remarkable play for the French club.
Simon was declared the winner after receiving 59.51 percent of the total votes cast, defeating teammates Quentin Merlin, Wylan Cyprien, and Kalifa Coulibaly.
In five league games in April, the Nigeria international scored three goals and contributed one assist. He would win the accolade for the second time this season, having been named the club’s best player in September 2021 following an outstanding performance.
His outstanding form also saw him chosen in the league’s Team of The Week for match-day 35, after scoring a brace in his side’s 2-2 draw against 10-man Lens on Sunday.
This season, the Nigeria international has had a strong season with the French club, scoring six league goals and assisting on eight others.
