Morocco’s national team coach at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Wali Regragui, has been named among the nominees for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach award.
Also nominated are Lionel Scaloni (Argentina), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid) and Didier Deschamps (France).
Voting for nominees has now been opened on FIFA’s official website.

Lionel Scaloni

Pep Guardiola

Walid Regragui
Key achievements: Led Morocco to fourth place at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ● Became the first coach to lead an African nation to the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup ● Won the 2021-22 CAF Champions League
Didier Deschamps
Key achievements: Led France to a second successive FIFA World Cup final ● Became only the fourth coach to lead a nation to two successive FIFA World Cup finals
