Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, have finally shown fans a photo of their newborn baby daughter. The power couple welcomed the newest member of their growing family in April, 18 months after revealing they were expecting twins.
However, one of the two newborns, a male, tragically died shortly after birth, while the baby girl survived.
“It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy,” Ronaldo said at the time in a joint statement.
And, only days after the birth of their newborn girl, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and his girlfriend have officially revealed the name of their newest addition. Georgina revealed on Instagram that they had called the baby ‘Bella Esmeralda,’ which translates to “beautiful” in Portuguese.

The Spanish model followed the announcement with three adorable images of newborn Bella. This is the first time Georgina has shared close-up photos of her newborn baby with followers.
