New Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag, has said his side will have to do the pressing and play entertaining football.
Ten Hag urged them to supply their best because being good is not good enough.
“That is what I expect,” the 52-year-old said in an interview with MUTV.
“I have high expectations from myself and that is also what I demand from my squad.
“They have to co-operate together and they have to give every day their best. And I would say, for me, good is not good enough. We have to do better.
“We are playing in the Theatre of Dreams and have to entertain the opponent. We are playing in the opponent’s half and we have to do attacking football.
“We have to do the pressing, the total high-pressing – that is a similarity to Ajax also – and the adventurous football.”
The former Ajax manager takes over a United that ended the 2021/2022 English Premier League season in 6th position.
The club had previously been managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who got fired last year and Ralf Rangnick who took over as interim manager.
