Manchester United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has called on his teammates to, on Tuesday, show the world why Old Trafford is regarded as the Theatre of Dreams.
United face Atletico Madrid at Old Trafford, the return leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie.
The first leg at Wanda Metropolitano in Spain ended 1-1 thanks to a late goal by Elanga who helped keep United’s hopes alive.
Both sides now face off at Old Trafford with United going into the game with the advantage.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Ronaldo urged his teammates to put up the kind of display they had last Saturday which saw him score a hat-trick against Tottenham at Old Trafford.
He tweeted, “Tomorrow is one of those days that we’ve all been waiting for. One of those chances to show the world the reason why Old Trafford is known as the Theatre of Dreams.
“Let’s recreate the amazing atmosphere that we saw in our last home game and let’s keep our Champions League dream alive!
“We are Man. United! Let’s do this together! Let’s go, Devils!”
