Man City vs Inter Milan: Starting XIs for Champions League final confirmed

Pep Guardiola has named this starting line-up on only three previous occasions but those occasions were all in the Champions League.

The 7-0 win over RB Leipzig and then home and away against Bayern Munich in the quarter-final.

If Kyle Walker had been fit to start, Guardiola might have gone with him instead of Nathan Ake – picking the team that beat Arsenal in the Premier League and did for Real Madrid home and away in the semi-final of this competition.

But it represents a minor variation on what has become his go-to setup.
