Liverpool vs Luton: Starting XIs for EPL clash confirmed

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp makes five changes to the team that claimed a 4-1 win at Brentford on Saturday.

Ibrahim Konate and Andy Robertson drop to the bench, while Diogo Jota, Curtis Jones and Darwin Nunez miss out through injury.

Mohamed Salah, who scored from the bench against the Bees, is also unavailable due to injury as Liverpool’s treatment room starts to swell with the likes of Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Dominik Szoboszlai and Thiago also sidelined.

Joe Gomez, Jarrell Quansah, Ryan Gravenberch, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott come in.

16-year-old Treymaurice Nyoni is named on the bench for the Reds.

Liverpool XI: Kelleher, Bradley, Quansah, Van Dijk, Gomez, Mac Allister, Endo, Gravenberch, Gakpo, Elliott, Diaz.

Luton are unchanged from Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home against Manchester United.

Rob Edwards is without Jacob Brown after the forward underwent surgery on his knee and top scorer Elijah Adebayo due to a hamstring injury.
