Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in Singapore friendly

Liverpool defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 in Singapore thanks to goals from Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah.

Henderson put Liverpool ahead after a Harvey Elliott pull-back, before Salah scored early in the second half with a 20-yard left-footed shot.

The only concern for Liverpool was a first-half injury to midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

KemiFilani recalls that Manchester United defeated Liverpool 4-0 in a friendly on Tuesday in Bangkok, Thailand.

It was a routine victory for the Reds, who won the FA Cup and League Cup last season, finished second in the Premier League behind Manchester City, and lost in the Champions League final to Real Madrid.

From 2021-22, Palace had only 11 senior players, with some unable to meet the country’s entry requirements and others unable to travel due to fitness issues.

Liverpool made nine changes in the second half after changing their entire starting 11 at halftime, while Palace made two blocks of five substitutes each.

The Reds had chances to win more, but Virgil van Dijk and Fabio Carvalho failed to convert, and Palace struggled to break down the Liverpool defence.
