Latest on Kylian Mbappe’s transfer news and rumours as PSG and Real Madrid battle for star player
According to transfer analyst Gianluca Di Marzio, Kylian Mbappe is expected to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.
This season, Mbappe’s future has been the subject of considerable speculation, with Real Madrid seeking to recruit the striker on a free transfer when his current agreement with PSG ends at the end of next month.
The French champs want to keep Mbappe, who has 36 goals in 45 games this season.
According to an astounding rumor in Spain, PSG has promised to make Mbappe the “owner” of their sporting enterprise in order to persuade him to stay at the Parc des Princes.
El Chiringuito’s EduAguirre claims PSG are prepared to give Mbappe the power to change coaches and dictate transfer policy at the club.
Furthermore, they are said to have offered him a monthly salary of £4 million as well as a £100 million signing bonus.
According to Sky Italy transfer specialist Di Marzio, such efforts appear to have paid off, with Mbappe expected to reject a move to Real Madrid.
Di Marzio tweeted “#Mbappe is now close to stay in @PSG_inside and renew his contract @SkySport @SkySports @SkySportsNews.”
Mbappe has yet to clarify his long-term future but stated last week that he is nearing a decision.
“I can’t say about my future but you’ll know very soon… it’s almost decided,” said Mbappe.
“This isn’t the right moment but yes, yes… my decision is almost done.”
However, Real Madrid supporters have reacted angrily to the news that Mbappe could be set to remain at PSG.
