LaLiga: Sadiq on target as Almeria draw at Elche

Umar Sadiq, a forward for the Super Eagles, scored his first LaLiga goal on Monday night as Elche forced Almeria to a 1-1 draw at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero.

During the 23rd minute, Sadiq gave the visitors the lead.

Seven minutes later, Allex Collado brought Elche’s score level. Nine minutes before the end, Dyego Souza took the place of Sadiq.

Almeria have now lost both of its opening games this season. On the first day of play, Real Madrid defeated Rubi’s team 2-1.

In their following league contest, they will host Sevilla.
