The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) published the LaLiga schedule for the 2022–2023 campaign on Thursday.
Real Madrid’s season will begin with a trip to Almeria, which has recently been promoted, while Rayo Vallecano calls Barcelona home.
On the weekend of October 16, the two rivals will square off in the first Clasico.
The game on Match Day 9 will take place at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium, with the rematch taking place over the weekend of March 19, 2023, at Barcelona’s Camp Nou.
While Sevilla, who finished fourth and earned the final Champions League spot, will travel to Osasuna, third-placed Atletico Madrid will open the new campaign on the road at Getafe.
The weekend of August 14, 2022 will mark the start of the 2022–23 LaLiga season, which will last until the weekend of June 4, 2023.
