The Nigeria Super Eagles have intensified their preparations for their international friendly against Ecuador’s La Tri on Thursday.
After a 2-1 loss to Mexico’s El Tri on Saturday, the players and their officials arrived in New Jersey on Sunday.
On Monday evening, the Super Eagles held their first training session in New Jersey at the Montclair State University pitch.
During the training session, the majority of the players displayed their usual enthusiasm, energy, and sharpness.
Jose Peseiro, the head coach, and his assistants oversaw the practice.
Close control, space management, and clinical finishing were the focus of the session.
The match will take place at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison on Thursday.
It will be the first high-level meeting between the two countries.
