The El Tri of Mexico arrived in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday morning ahead of their international friendly against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
On Saturday, Gerardo Martino’s team will face the West Africans at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The players and their officials were greeted by their American fans upon arrival.
Later in the day, the team will train as part of their preparations for the highly anticipated friendly.
As part of their tour of the United States, the North Americans have scheduled friendlies against Uruguay and Ecuador.
Mexico and Nigeria have met seven times previously, with four of those meetings ending in draws.
El Tri’s most recent match was a 4-0 thrashing of Nigeria in July 2021 at the Memorial Coliseum Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
