Forced kiss: Luis Rubiales mother rushed to hospital after 50 days of hunger strike

Mother of Luis Rubiales, Angeles Bejar, has found her in the hospital after going 50 hours without eating. 

Bejar has been on hunger strike inside a church in protest of what she believes is ‘inhumane’ treatment of her son.

The retired hairdresser locked herself at Divina Pastora de Motril, Granada, since Monday morning and has refused to go home.

A priest, Father Antonio, said on Wednesday evening that the woman has been hospitalised after going 50 hours without eating and drinking 

She was only taking water to take her medication.

“She had not been feeling well because of the heat and everything else,” he told the Spanish media, who had gathered outside the church.

“Her feet had become swollen and she was very tired. She had also become very nervous.”
