The winner of the prize will be selected by an international jury comprising a panel of FIFA Legends and registered fans from across the world on FIFA’s official website.
In November, the world football governing body announced 11 nominees for the award.
It has now reduced it to three nominees:

Patrik Schick (CZE) – Czech Republic v. Scotland [UEFA EURO 2020] (14 June 2021)
Mehdi Taremi (IRN) – Chelsea FC v. FC Porto [UEFA Champions League] (13 April 2021)
Meanwhile, the finalists in the other categories will be revealed in the coming days.
The virtual awards ceremony will be broadcast live from the Home of FIFA in Zurich on 17 January.
