FIFA has released its nominees for this year’s ‘The Best’ men’s player award.
This is the eighth edition of the award.
The award was created after FIFA ended its partnership with Ballon d’Or in 2016.
The shortlists are usually done by a panel of football experts and based on player’s or coach’s achievements over the course of a year.
