FIFA ranking: Super Falcons remain Africa’s finest

The Super Falcons of Nigeria, the record African champions, remained the best team in Africa in FIFA’s latest women’s ranking released on Friday.

In addition, the Super Falcons also maintained the 39th place in the world.

The top five teams on the continent are Cameroon (54th), South Africa (58th), Ghana (59th), and Cote d’Ivoire (64th).

The Super Falcons will attempt to defend their title at next month’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

South Africa, Burundi, and Botswana are in Group C with Randy Waldrum’s team.

From July 2nd to July 23rd, Morocco will host the competition.

Meanwhile, the world champions, the United States of America, are still in first place, Sweden is second, and France is third.
