Former Spanish international, Cesc Fabregas, is set to sign for Italian second division side, Como.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed the news on Friday, said the deal will be sealed as a free agent.
Fabregas’ contract with Monaco expired this summer and is expected to join Como on a two-year deal until June 2024.
Romano tweeted: “Cesc Fabregas is set to join Italian second division team Como on a free transfer!
“Full agreement in place on a free deal, final details to be sorted out soon.
“Contract will be valid until June 2024.”
Before now, Fabregas had played for Arsenal, Chelsea FC and Barcelona and was part of the Spanish team that won the World Cup in 2010.
