Euro 2024 qualifiers: Cristiano Ronaldo to set fresh record today as Portugal faces Slovakia

Cristiano Ronaldo could be making history today as Portugal play Slovakia in the Euro 2024 qualifier

By the end of today(Friday), Cristiano Ronaldo would be achieving another milestone in football.

Ahead of their Euro 2024 qualifying game with Slovakia, the 38-year-old has already sent out a message of motivation to his Portugal teammates on social media.

A win is all the 2016 champions need to book a place in the tournament in Germany provided Luxembourg are defeated by Iceland.

Portugal would not just qualify for the competition but also win the Group J.

And in doing this Ronaldo would be setting a record as the first player in history to reach the 6th European Championship.

Kemifilani can report that the Al Nassr striker has not stopped making history with his national team.

CR7 is the first player to reach 200 caps in history, his country’s all-time top goalscorer.

Ronaldo has 123 goals in his basket which came in 201 games for Portugal.

No player in the history of football has reached that milestone.

The Portugal captain has scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 11 games across competitions this season.
