Former Liverpool man, Graeme Souness has said that the trio of Antony, Alejandro Carnacho and Jadon Sancho are not good enough to be called Manchester United players.
Manchester United have spent about 164million so far this transfer window but Souness believes that nothing has changed at the club.
The Red Devils have had a poor start to the new season, winning 1-0 at home against an unfancied Wolves side before losing 2-0 at Tottenham last weekend,
Erik ten Hag’s side will be up against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Saturday but Souness believes many of their players simply are not up to the task.
“On the wings, you look at Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho,” the former Premier League star wrote in his column for the Daily Mail.
“I don’t think any of them are good enough to be United players long-term and take the club where they want to go as a giant of world football. They’re ordinary.”
